Went after 2pm, 50% off of buffet is good. The flavored rice was tasty and I liked it. Remaining items, I felt bland. I was expecting spicier. Would have liked this place more if the food is more spicy given the varieties they have.
If you like the Mediterranean cuisine this is the perfect place
Exactly what you would expect from a place like this. Great attention to detail, attentive and welcoming staff. We had the detestation menu with the wine pairing and it was a lovely journey through a range of flavor from the sea to land to the sweet. Also happy to accommodate for food allergies which was a very nice surprise!!
Taste like a heaven in my mouth! Such a healthy and yummy food 😋😋, so clean and neat place! Since iam from the meditteranean area, i can tell that this is the most authentic meditteranean restaurant in San Francisco in term of spices and taste ! and my best place to get my lunch! Keep it up guys ! You're the best!
Was wandering the city with kids and we stopped here for lunch. Food was great and staff was pinnacle of kindness. These experiences make the city the remarkable place we want it to be, know it can be. Thank you and much respect Fayala!
So many food variations. Good for breakfast as well as lunch. Loved the Mediterranean foods, this is loved by a lot of people. Provided great customer service, healthy food material, hygienic environment. Very good choice for coming with friends, kids, and family members.
Friendly service, great food, and the manager/owner personally came out to see how we were doing. Also, apologized for any inconvenience that the construction may have vaused us to find parking. Family friendly environment.
Heads down my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the city. Everything I've tried here is full with diverse flavors and you taste quality with every bite. Usually I'm not a huge fan of Lemon Garlic Tilapia or Beef Bourgeoisie, but Tilapia has absolutely changed my opinion in that regard. If it's your first time here, Lemon Garlic Tilapia and Kettle Chips.
Fayala is an amazing Mediterranean lunch spot. The variety and quality of food is amazing and consistent all the time (and very reasonably priced). The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. I highly recommend it!
Awesome food at affordable price
Very good salad bar, hot sandwiches and falafel. They also give 50% off on salad bar after 2pm. I eat here at least 1-2 times per week. They have indoor seating area as well.
I love this place! Sandwich are fantastic, but their crusts tend to be on the thick and doughy side. Just tell them if you prefer your crust thin and crispy and they will be glad to make this adjustment. Staff is always super courteous (in-store and delivery). Thank you guys
I've only gotten their chicken bowls. Honestly like the bowls at Sababa a lot more. The chicken here is a lot more dry, and doesn't taste as good. The sides are really good though. I'd up the stars if they fixed their chicken. For now, Sababa will remain my go to middle eastern to-go lunch spot.Oh around 12, the line gets a little ridiculous too.
My favorite restaurant in SF . This tiny Algerian fusion restaurant tucked away from the main street has a delicious variety of wholesome , fresh and affordable food . Love this place <3
We love Roasted Veggie Wrap and we weren't disappointed, 5 stars all the way ! We'll be back !!
An average place to dine. Plenty of options for lunch from falalfel to authentic Mediterranean. But the salad bar is not up to the standards the quality of items didn't seem fresh for such a high price. They also offer readymade salad bowls but I would order something on the grill. The ambience is not that great a little cramped.
Love it, fresh and clean nice people working in. In and out quick. And happy.
Great food and service. Original concepts that fit the busy lifestyle of SF and the Soma neighborhood. I highly recommend their the Chapli kabab sandwich, which I learned is the owner's wife homemade recipe. It's a winner! Highly recommended.
The food is so delicious, do yourself a favor and try the spicy Fayala sandwich, it's like seriously addicting. The flavor is really on point and appreciated. Hard to find well flavored food in the some neighborhood so this is now my new favorite place
Great place for lunch. Falafel was fresh, crunchy on the outside and tasty.
Great food, just need a sign to let people know to head upstairs for the additional food options.
Great food
Very good for a quick bite at lunch time
I bought chicken shawarma bowl. The chicken was very flavourful. I had it with supergreens, a rice bowl might had been even more tastier. Quantity was very good...more than sufficient for one person, I am sure it will keep me full untill dinner. Staff was super attentive to customer needs, wonderful customer service!
SF lunch spots are always hit or miss and Fayala is definitely a hit. I love their Spicy Fayala Wrap and their Salad Bar is amazing; always fresh with lots of healthy options. The interior is very clean and the décor is very modern. Manager/workers are very welcoming and accommodating. I always make sure to stop by here when I'm in the Financial District.
underwhelming food. simple menu (4 type of protein + 3 options) and nice service. chicken was well seasoned but over cooked (was really chewy). some of the food items were tasty (eggplant, onions) but didn't gel when put together. there are better options nearby. probably won't go back.
Great buffet style that the charge by weight. Small seating area and because of the amount of food, drinks were complimentary.
The food is good, there's a pretty decent choice as well. The only downside is the lack of space but, since a lot of people do take out, it's not too hard to find a spot to seat. The beef stew is really good. Was a tad salty but very tasty.
Fayala catered an event for my volunteer organization this week, and they totally went above and beyond. They made us rosemary chicken, creamy pasta, and a kale salad that everyone LOVED, and they were really generous with the portions, as well as flexible with the pickup. We really appreciated them, and I know I'll be back!
Decent cheap food. Got the chicken schwarma bowl via meal pal which was a good deal.
Magnificent high-end Chinese cuisine. The brunch is recommendable which is based on a set menu and a small/medium sized buffet, including the famous Beijing duck.
Convenient salad bar. Good to quick bite.
Quick lunch spot. Try their burrata sandwich
The Chicken Kale Salad (from MealPal) absolutely sucks... They put in bunch of asparagus end which are extremely tough...
Great service and amazing sandwiches! Try the BBQ Chicken bread sandwich, it really hits the spot!
A place where you forget everything else but the person in front of you. Great romantic place well excellent food. My best food picks are the ones in the pictures. Enjoy.
Mediterranean food and service at this place is super good. Food was so fresh. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.
Chicken s pretty hard and not cooked properly
Good food at a reasonable price. The place is a bit chaotic and we had to literally go out of our way to pay for our meal rather than just walking out, so that's definitely something they need to fix...
Had lunch at Fayala today and wanted to try something new. So I went for the Veggie Wrap. It was delish and filing. Must try!
Great Mediterranean food! There is a pay per pound bar, a create your own Mediterranean bowl counter, or a traditional order from a menu counter. My husband goes frequently for their sea bass sandwich, and it is good, but I prefer the park tower wrap. Hands down. The flavors in the wrap were delicious. We will definitely be coming back!
Place - clean, simple but few tables to eat. Usually to go. They only open at lunch. Taste - Great! Usually they offer similar foods but slightly different. Taste is better than other self bar shop like Lee's Delis. Choices are not many but all are delicious. There are many kind of pasta and I like everything. Veges are freah. Service - after 2pm, price is half! It is really great! I think after 2:30, food will not be left.
Amazing food, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Everyone should experience this. Loved it!!!!
Good healthy food, great valie.
Wonderful lunch spot in Soma. Food is delicious. I love the spicy chicken they make. Grab and go station at the front if you are in a hurry. Huge selection of hot food daily and a salad bar. They also make sandwiches to order. After 2pm all hot food is 50% off.
Fast, fresh and friendly. Great spot for lunch.
They have a mix of halal and non halal meat. So it's better to ask before ordering as u never know.
Great lunch. You have to try the fish.
The food is bad, the falafel are super dry as if they re 3 days old! I don't recommend this place...
Food was just ok
